These Quartet of XD Series in 3U from Proton are especially designed for the touring specialist. Using Class H topology in XD-5500 / XD-5000 / XD-3000, these amplifiers have the ergonomics suited for the rigors of frequent road-use and abuse. Features such as the various protection circuits like the short circuit protect, DC protect, and many others, coupled with the multiple temperature controlled fans, within a precisely machined chassis makes this a perfect choice for the intended use. An added feature in the XD Series is the built-in crossover to make the amplifier a subwoofer amplifier or a midhighs amplifier, besides being a full range device of course (which eliminate the need for external crossovers and simultaneously ensures safe operation even if a novice is handling the setup). The XD5500/5000/3000 with over 700 damping factor ensures tight fisted bass.
