The MT Series range of power amplifiers from Proton are what every text book amplifier in the pro-audio industry should be. If one is to look at the desirable aspects of these qualities then it is very simple. These qualities are maximum reliability, minimum maintenance, high power to weight ratio, flexibility, efficiency, thermal control and of course sound quality. MT series use innovative methods in "Circuit breaker" technologies for the power supplies, and also the auto cutoff which will switch ON, in the rare case high DC current abnormalities, protecting both, the amplifiers and the loudspeaker from damage. The heavily protected chassis is quite "bombproof" in construction ensuring minimum physical damage.
